My babe had visited to stay over for the night. You could imagine how excited I was.

After several round of breath taking se.x, we both settled down to sleep. I for one was just so enervated.

It was around twelve in the mid night, when some strange sounds woke me up, I literally was scared out of my wits.

Only to turn over and it was my babe muttering incoherent words, smiling and laughing out loud and also frowning at intervals.

I felt chills running down my spine. She was twisting around as if in a gathering that went beyond human comprehension.

Just then she laughed in a mystical way, more like the Nigerian movie, make believe Queen of the coast and she started saying.

“Queen mother, please give me more time. I love him so so much and can’t bear seeing him die. Please give us few more years before I take his life. I really love him so much.”

My heart was pounding just so hard, sweat from nowhere soaked me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet.

    I was trembling so badly.

She suddenly frowned deeply and muttered sadly.

“Queen mother? He has just two months? I your daughter ask for mercy on his behalf. Please Queen mother.”

That was when I understood that there was more to life than sweet in the middle.

I forgot my slippers, and wasn’t even wearing a anything save for a boxers and ran out of my room, heading for my pastor’s house.

I ran out of my house at 12 mid night, looking for salvation.
