When it comes to mentioning those female songstress who is currently doing well, then Yemi Eberechi Alade who is popularly known as Yemi Alade cannot the left out. The award winning singer has been very much consistent ever since she came to limelight in the music industry. The Johnny crooner has been going great with her music.

The Nigerian singer has been dominating not just in her home country alone but even outside the borders and known all over Africa and the Mama Africa which was also one of the name she gave her album. Yemi Alade has broken some records and gotten so many top awards with her music. Her 2014 single ‘Johnny‘ still holds the record as the most watched youtube video in Africa from a female artiste. Yemi Alade ever since she came to limelight has worked several A-list artistes like the defunct P-Square group, Ghanaian super rapper Sarkodie, Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania etc.

The 31 year singer has been consistent with her Afropop, R&B, World style of music. Her albums fosters more on that. She has been very much successful under Effyzzie Group which was been her record label right from time. The label has helped in the working of her four albums so far. Her most recent album tagged ‘Woman Of Steel‘ which she dropped in August 2019 was released under Effyzzie Music Group in combination with Universal Music Africa. Before now Yemi Alade had good successes from her first to this very last. They are as follows; King Of Queens (2014), Mama Africa (2016), Mama Africa (2017), and lastly Woman Of Steel (2019).

The ‘Woman Of Steel‘ album is her most recent body of work. The album houses 15 tracks and in it she featured American rapper Rick Ross, Angélique Kidjo of Benin Republic, Port-Harcourt first song Duncan Mighty & Yoruba actress Funke Akindele. The album which has a total playtime of 52 minutes has the production assistance from Krizbeatz, Vtek, DJ Coublon etc.
