The Plateau State governmenty has sealed off two private schools namely First Academy in Angwan Rogo, Jos North, and Niret Private School in Angwan Gero, Jos South, for failing to meet operational standards and guidelines.

In a press release by the Ministry of Education on Monday, the decision to shut down the schools came after a verification team from the ministry conducted an inspection and found that both schools were operating below the required standards, leading to their immediate closure.

The release stated that First Academy was previously shut down two years ago due to poor facilities and operations.
