The Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys operating in Jos.

According to the agency, the suspects were arrested in the K-Vom and Rayfield areas of the Plateau State capital on Saturday March 8, following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.

Items recovered from them include five laptops, huge sums of money, 13 phones and two power banks.

The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations, according to the anti-graft agency.
